Some 84% of gig economy workers in India are satisfied with the nature of their work, the Bangalore Mirror newspaper reported, citing a poll by market research firm Ipsos. High earning potential and schedule flexibility topped the list of positives. However, workers cited concerns about the lack of social security benefits. The poll included 3,668 workers in six major cities working through platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato.
