Japan’s Konica Minolta to cut 2,400 jobs

Japan's Konica Minolta said today it will trim 2,400 jobs worldwide during the current fiscal year as part of structural reform, reports Reuters. The office business company is expected to book about JPY 20 billion (USD 131.87 million) in one-time expenses for the financial year ending next March. The company did not specify if the jobs were permanent or temporary. Based in Tokyo, the company is mainly engaged in office business and other businesses including professional print, healthcare and industrial materials and equipment.
