Japan – S-Pool first quarter revenue rises 20.5%

S-Pool Inc. (2471:TYO), a Tokyo-based staffing provider reported on Monday revenue rose 20.5% year over year in the three months ended 28 February, the first quarter of its fiscal year.

S-Pool said during the quarter that it was able to minimise the effects of the pandemic which resulted in higher sales and profits.

The group reported growth in its call center and human resources outsourcing businesses. 

The company forecast full-year revenue of JPY 28.77 billion (USD 232.34 million) for the year ending 30 November 2022.

Shares in S-Pool closed on Monday at JPY 1,275 (USD 10.30), up 2.0% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 103.89 billion (USD 839.00 million).
