Japanese temporary staffing firm PA Co (4766: JP) reported revenue yesterday for the nine months ended 30 September 2021 of JPY 1.16 billion (USD 10.1 million), down 2.7% compared to the same period last year.

While the Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on the company’s results, revenue in the dispatch staff business was up 14.1% over the year. Revenue in the information services business was down 8.2%. Revenue in the nursery business fell by 4.7%.
PA Co operates Information Services and Temporary Staffing Services. The information services segment publishes free job information magazines and sales promotion information publications; offers sales promotion tools through mobiles, and operates recruitment websites for full-time employers focusing on mobile sites. The group also operates a nursery business.
The company did not publish a forecast.
Shares in PA Co closed yesterday at JPY 190.00 (USD 1.66), up 1.6% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 2.08 billion (USD 18.20 million).
