Japanese temporary staffing firm PA Co (4766: JP) reported revenue on Monday for the first quarter ended 31 March 2022 of JPY 423 million (USD 3.09 million), an increase of 1.9% compared to the same period last year.

PA Co operates Information Services and Temporary Staffing Services. The Information Services segment publishes free job information magazines and sales promotion information publications; offers sales promotion tools through mobiles, as well as recruitment websites for full-time employers focusing on mobile sites. The group also operates a nursery business.
Net sales for the information service business were up 9.1%. Sales for the Temporary Staffing Business were down 16.7% over the year.
Net sales for the childcare business for the first quarter were up 5.2% year on year. Revenue in the regional revitalisation business fell 2.6% year-on-year.
Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 1.80 billion (USD 13. for the year ended 31 December 2023.
On Monday PA Co shares closed at JPY 168.00 (USD 1.23), up 0.59% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 1.72 billion (USD 12.5 million).
