21 April 2022

Outsourcing Inc. (2427:TYO) announced Tuesday that it launched an admission free phone interpreter service for Ukrainian refugees. The company noted that its Otto subsidiary in the Netherlands has six offices in Ukraine and employs 3,000 Ukrainian personnel, and expressed its heartfelt sympathy to those who are in a difficult situation in Ukraine.

ORJ Inc., another Outsourcing subsidiary that provides services to foreign workers in Japan, operates the phone interpreter service. Outsourcing aims for the service to be available to Ukrainian refugees as well as related parties and local governments, companies and organizations that have accepted refugees or are planning to accept them.

The Russian call center will be available 24 hours a day as many Ukrainian people understand that language, and the Ukrainian call center will be open from noon to 4pm on weekdays. In addition to interpretation, consultation on daily life will be provided.

Outsourcing’s announcement of the call center follows an earlier announcement in March that it will accept 100 refugees from Ukraine.
