Japan – JAC Recruitment first quarter revenue down 7.4%

Japanese staffing firm JAC Recruitment (2124: TYO) reported revenue for the first quarter ended 31 March 2020 of JPY 5.94 billion (USD 54.3 million), a decrease of 7.4% compared to last year.

JAC Recruitment provides recruitment services to local enterprises and multinationals in Japan, the UK, and the rest of Asia.

According to SIA’s Largest Staffing Firms in Japan and Market Overview report, JAC Recruitment  is the 30th largest staffing firm in Japan based on 2019 revenue.

Looking ahead, the company forecasted revenue of JPY 22.46 billion (USD 205.38 million) for the year ended 31 December 2021.

Shares in JAC Recruitment closed at JPY 1,732.00 (USD 15.84), up 0.46% on the day and 12.08% below its 52-week high of JPY 1,970.00 (USD 18.02), set on 8 February 2021. The company has a market cap of JPY 72.86 billion (USD 666.25 million).
