Japan – Fullcast H1 revenue up 10.6%

Japan-based staffing firm Fullcast Holdings (4848: JP) reported revenue today of JPY 23.71 million (USD 215.9 million) for the first six months ended 30 June 2021, a 10.6% increase compared to last year.

The group said revenue was impacted by the pandemic but customer demand recovered throughout the first half of the year and the group also won government projects.

Fullcast provides short-term human resources placement, payroll service outsourcing and long-term human resources dispatching. In the short-term operational support business, the company operates in the following sectors: distribution, warehouse work, relocation, manufacturing, catering, sales promotion, call centres, and offices.

Looking ahead, the company forecasted revenue of JPY 41.60 billion (USD 378.8 million) for the year ended December 2020.

Shares in Fullcast Holdings closed at JPY 2,167.00 (USD 19.74), down 1.19% on the day and -9.52% below its 52-week high of JPY 2,395.00 (USD 21.81), set on 6 July 2021. The company has a market cap of JPY 82.21 billion (USD 748.70 million).
