Careerindex, a Japan-based company which operates a number of recruitment sites, announced that it has acquired ContractS Co., a company which provides a cloud-based contract management system.

Also based in Japan, ContractS will become a subsidiary of CareerIndex Inc.

The ContractS CLM platform integrates legal consultation, contract creation, contract examination, negotiation, internal approval, conclusion, and contract management, regardless of whether it is a paper contract or an electronic contract.

“By adding ContractS CLM provided by ContractS Inc. to the service lineup, we have come to the idea that we can expand our target services to customers even in the HR area and real estate area where we are already developing business,” CareerIndex stated.

The group said that the acquisition will expand its services in the digital transformation domain.

Financial details were not disclosed.
