Japan-based temporary staffing and HR services business CRG Holdings announced that it has acquired the shares of Osiete Co., Ltd.

The price of the transaction is JPY 602 million (USD 4.5 million).

Osiete Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the platform business of interpretation and translation services that specialise in digitisation and includes over 1,600 registered interpreters who speak over 30 languages.

“We are developing a service that connects multiple customer bases and interpreters online in a matching site for recorded interpreting and translation services,” CRG Holdings stated. “At the same time, we are providing automatic transcription and minutes creation services to further improve added value for our customers.”

“In addition to online interpreting and translation, which is the strength of the target company (Osiete), it is also possible to collaborate on an offline interpreter dispatch and event management support, etc. In the future, we will support the operation of large-scale hybrid conferences and match Japanese companies with overseas companies,” CRG Holdings stated.

CRG Holdings added that the transaction will contribute to improving the corporate value of the group over the medium to long term.
