Japanese technical staffing firm Altech Corp. (4641:JP) reported revenue for the full year ended 31 December 2020 of JPY 35.75 billion (USD 341.7 million), a slight decrease of 1.7% when compared to the same period last year.

Altech Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, provides professional staffing services in the technical sector, primarily in Japan. The company also provides total staffing solutions for the healthcare sector and operates and manages private residential homes with nursing care.

Despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the group’s outsourcing service business, its main business, in which it dispatches engineers, outsources technical projects, and clerical staff, revenue was up 2.4%. However, this was offset by a revenue decline in its global business.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 40.00 billion (USD 382.29 million) for the year ended December 2021.

Shares in Altech Corp closed at JPY 2,198.00 (USD 21.00), up 1.76% on the day and 7.34% below its 52-week high of JPY 2,372.00 (USD 22.67), set on 15 December 2020. The company has a market cap of JPY 53.45 billion (USD 510.77 million).
