Indian staffing firm Info Edge, through its subsidiary Redstart Labs, agreed to invest USD 400,000 in Ray IOT Solutions Inc., a US-based firm that develops a non-contact breathing and sleep tracker for babies. 

Founded in 2019, Ray IOT is engaged in the healthcare sector. Its tracker, Raybaby, analyses and relays a host of information about a baby’s health through an app called ‘Smart Journal’.

The investment by Redstart is in furtherance of Info Edge’s investment strategy, which includes making external financial investments that are focused on value creation in the medium to long term.

Last month, Info Edge, through Redstart Labs, agreed to invest about USD 500,000 in SkyServe Inc. which provides satellite-based edge computed insights for core industries and solution providers to scale faster and affordably..
