Staffing firms in India are reporting a 250% increase in demand for temp staff, The Economic Times newspaper reported. “Hiring mandates have increased 200% to 250% of the normal monthly averages as Covid caution has dramatically reduced on the back of much lower daily cases, high vaccination rates, etc.,” Lohit Bhatia, president - workforce management at staffing firm Quess Corp., told The Economic Times.
