India – Randstad promotes CFO to MD and CEO

07 April 2021

Randstad India announced the appointment of their current CFO, Viswanath PS as its new chief executive officer and managing director, effective 1 July 2021.

Viswanath takes over the role from Paul Dupuis who served as CEO and managing director for the last four years.

Viswanath joined Randstad India in 2014 as the Head of Shared Services Centre and took over as the CFO in 2016.

According to Randstad India, over the years, Viswanath (also known as Vishy) has championed several critical transformational initiatives, not only within the finance division but also in client services and talent operations.

“Vishy is a strong, strategic thinker, and values-driven leader with an impressive track record of delivering consistent and high-quality performance,” Dupuis said. “Having worked closely with him for many years, I am highly confident that under his leadership, Randstad India will prosper long into the future. His appointment demonstrates the strength of Randstad’s succession planning and talent pipeline.”

“Vishy brings more than three decades of diversified expertise and experience in key leadership roles at leading global and Indian organizations, particularly in the areas of strategic planning and business development. Before joining Randstad India, he has held leadership roles across General Electric, Motorola and the TVS Group," Randstad India said in a statement.

“As part of the strategy, Randstad India will accelerate to profitable growth through continuous innovation, while focusing on strong execution. We will continue to deliver long term growth and value creation to all our stakeholders,” Viswanath said.

Meanwhile, Dupuis will be managing director of Randstad Japan.
