Online talent platform OptimHire, whose focus is on reducing the average hiring time of IT companies substantially, plans to raise INR 1.5 billion (USD 19.45 million) in Series A funding. The Times of India reports that the funding would help OptimHire bolster product innovation and expand teams across geographies. Priority markets will be India, US and Canada. “With its AI-powered platform and a large database of pre-screened tech talents, OptimHire helps IT companies hire developers in days,” Founder and CEO Lakshmi M. Kodali said. “In doing so, it has reduced the average time, to hire, for client-companies from six months to 12 days. We are delighted to be part of the recruitment industry at a time when the IT industry is experiencing exponential growth.”
