IT companies are replacing some mid- and senior-level tech workers with new hires, Ramani Dathi, CFO of India-based staffing firm Teamlease Services, told The Economic Times. “At the mid and senior level, either they are replacing with lower cost hires from the market or trying to bring in freshers whom they have hired over the last two years to those levels,” Dathi said. “We are also seeing top talent being retained by the companies and those who are in the mid and below levels in terms of performance or overall productivity, we are seeing massive attrition — either voluntary or involuntary happening.”
