Japanese human resources provider Hito Communications signed an industry-academia partnership agreement with Arai Gakuen Akamonkai Japanese Language School and Hulic Hotel Management.

Both the language school and Hulic Hotel Management are based in Tokyo.

This initiative is aimed at international students who are thinking of finding employment in the Japanese accommodation industry.

Participating students will take courses on Japanese business etiquette and accommodation during their enrolment period (minimum 6 months) in addition to Japanese language classes. Through the work experience, they will learn how to work at a Japanese company, and at the same time gain experience working using Japanese and improve their Japanese language skills.

Hito Communications added that it will promote industry-academia collaboration initiatives using similar schemes, and support recruitment in the service industry as well as employment support for overseas personnel in Japan.

“Through these initiatives, we will strive to contribute to expanding the hiring population in the service industry as a whole by utilising overseas human resources and promoting sustainable development goals,” Hito Communications stated.
