Clover Co Ltd acquires recruitment business from Japanese care-tech firm Welmo Co., Ltd.

02 October 2023

Welmo Co., Ltd, a Japanese care-tech firm, announced it has transferred its recruitment business Milmowork, to Clover Co., Ltd.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Welmo is involved in the development of decision-making assistance artificial intelligence services in the nursing care field. It also provides a nursing care service information platform.

The company also provides human resources recruitment in the nursing care field.

Clover operates community-based day services for the elderly mainly in Tokyo.

Welmo said it decided to transfer its recruitment business in order to concentrate its management resources on the care-tech business in anticipation of the revision of the Nursing Care Insurance Act in Japan.

Milmowork’s name will be changed to ‘Work Live Care.’

“Even if the operating company changes, the provision of this recruitment service will continue under the previous system,” Welmo stated. “We hope that our users can continue to use our services with peace of mind.”

CL Consulting Co., Ltd., which was newly established by Clover Group in July 2023, will be in charge of operating Work Live Care.
