China’s surveyed urban unemployment rate remained at 5% in November, reports Xinhua, citing a spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics. From January to November, the average surveyed urban unemployment rate came in at 5.2%, 0.4% lower than that of the same period of last year, according to spokesperson Liu Aihua. Favourable conditions conducive to maintaining employment stability continue to accumulate despite structural contradictions in the employment market, Aihua added.
