Australian supermarket company Coles is calling for uniform housing standards for seasonal farm workers and rules against unfairly docking their pay in a report that took aim at the horticultural sector’s reliance on outsourcing workers, The Sydney Morning Herald reported. The report released by Coles and unions alleges a decline in transparency when labour hire firms are used.
