Morson Group, a UK-based engineering staffing provider, announced that it has completed the acquisition of Australian recruitment firm ACRWorld.

The group said the acquisition enhances its technical and infrastructure footprint.

Financial details were not disclosed.

ACRWorld specialises in providing personalised recruitment solutions to the architecture, engineering, construction, property, transportation, renewable energy, and related industries by matching its clients with in-demand candidates across the globe.

Headquartered in Sydney, the organisation’s 34 strong team is led by managing director, John Green and directors, Dave Deemer and Rob Lawrence.

Green said, “Our market alignment is supported by a cultural fit, and shared philosophy across both businesses. The Morson Group’s strategy is underpinned by collaboration, integrity, and a clear vision to place people at the heart of what they do, which are values that mirror our own.”

“The Morson Group will present our team with the perfect platform to support sustainable growth, providing our clients, and candidates with unique access to a suite of trailblazing recruitment products and services to enhance our capabilities in delivering quality, consultative hiring,” Green added. “Through this partnership, we’ll be able to provide exciting new opportunities for our people, whilst maintaining the reputation that we have worked so hard to build.”

Ged Mason OBE, CEO of Morson Group, said, “We have a clear strategy to expand our footprint and enhance our position as a global player, the acquisition of ACRWorld strengthens this objective and reinforces our presence in the architecture, engineering, construction, property, transportation and renewable energy sectors. Whilst the pandemic pushed us to think local, as borders and opportunities open, we have our eye firmly on the wider picture.”

“Bringing ACRWorld into the group enables us to take advantage of tremendous growth opportunities in Australia, diversifying the group with its complementary offer, and a respected team, whilst giving our clients access to a global network of talent,” Mason said.

“The months ahead will remain business as usual, as our leadership teams work together to add value to one another’s operations and deliver a successful integration,” Mason added. “We’re seeing unprecedented demand for talent worldwide, and our priority is to support this surge in outsourced recruitment as organisations search for the right talent partner to deliver their strategic ambitions.”
