Humanforce, a Sydney, Australia-based HR provider, acquired Ento, a workforce management product provider. The deal was announced last month.

Ento’s product is used in retail, hospitality and other industries and is in some 10,000 workplaces with 100,000 employees. It’s focused on shift-based workers and aims to enable employers to manage rostering, time and attendance, leave and onboarding from a centralised platform. Ento was founded in 2009 and is based in Melbourne, Australia.

“The acquisition of Ento expands our scale and reach, reinforcing our commitment to the vision of making work easier and life better for deskless worker,” Humanforce CEO Clayton Pyne said.

Humanforce’s acquisition of Ento comes after Ento received a second round of funding in May from private equity firm AKKR.

Humanforce’s product includes functionality in payroll, time and attendance, rosters and scheduling, and workforce analytics.
