Australia – Hiremii provides update, quarterly revenue lower than anticipated

29 October 2021

Hiremii, an Australia-based staffing platform for temporary and permanent hiring, provided a financial and operational update for the quarter ended 30 September 2021.

Total unaudited revenue for the quarter stood at AUD 1.3 million (USD 0.9 million), with revenues lower than anticipated due to lockdowns across the eastern seaboard, impacting one of the company's client contracts.

However, the group added that unaudited September 2021 monthly revenue has seen a recovery and upward trend to AUD 527,000 (USD 397,139), marginally down on the November 2020 to June 2021 annualised average monthly revenue of AUD 568,000 (USD 428,047).

The company debuted on the ASX in May 2021.

Hiremii said it continues to focus on the strategic initiatives as set out in its recent IPO Prospectus, specifically those initiatives relating to new client acquisition to target long term engagements with high volumes of work.

“There has been substantial effort made to onboard new clients and significant commercial progress made through the quarter,” the company stated. “We anticipate completion of commercial negotiations and client vendor onboarding processes early in the next quarter.”

Hiremii CEO Christopher Brophy said, “The success of the company's business is dependent on the achievement of its growth strategy, including the further development of the Hiremii Platform, increase in the number of its clients and expansion of our Labour Hire and Recruitment businesses.

“Lockdowns in New South Wales and Victoria during the first quarter turned our focus to platform development and new client acquisition in Western Australia. We anticipate current commercial negotiations and client vendor onboarding processes to be completed early in the next quarter and look forward to sharing these exciting developments soon,” Brophy said.

Shares in Hiremii today closed at AUD 0.085 (USD 0.06), down 5.56% on the day and 6.25% above its 52-week low of AUD 0.08 (USD 0.60), set on 27 October 2021. The company has a market cap of AUD 5.36 million (USD 4.0 million).
