Job search site AD1 Holdings (AD1:AU), previously known as ApplyDirect, announced that it has signed a project with the New South Wales government to further improve the iworkforNSW careers platform and the accompanying mobile applications.

The iworkforNSW career platform is a jobs site for public sector roles in the New South Wales government.

“The New South Wales government has developed a Digital Design System for use across all government websites,” AD1 stated. “The system also requires digital assets to meet the upgraded technical and content accessibility requirements in order to ensure an enhanced online experience that better support people with disability.”

“As part of the project, the iworkforNSW platform, which is an important digital asset for the NSW Government, will be enhanced to align with these design and accessibility guidelines.

The update will be extended to the iOS and android applications,” AD1 added.

AD1 CEO, Prashant Chandra, said, “We understand this project to be an important initiative for the NSW Government in progressing work on the premier’s priority target of employing more people with disability in the public sector and to drive alignment with other NSW Government digital products. We are very pleased with the opportunity to assist them achieve this objective. The platform was first implemented over five years ago and has successfully provided jobseekers with a destination platform for employment with the NSW Government.”
