Australia-based B2C talent platform Airtasker reported revenue yesterday for the full year ended 30 June 2022 of AUD 31.5 million (USD 21.8 million), an increase of 18.4% year on year.
Gross marketplace volume stood at AUD 189.6 million (USD 131.6 million), up 23.8% on the prior year.

Airtasker noted that the first five months of the financial year were impacted by Covid-19 related government-mandated restrictions in Australia.
The group also reported Q4 revenue of AUD 9.0 million (USD 6.2 million), up 30.6% over the previous year. Gross marketplace volume stood at AUD 54.4 million (USD 37.7 million), up 38.3% over the previous year.
On 25 May 2022, Airtasker completed the acquisition of local services marketplace Oneflare to strengthen network effects and unlock the high value trades opportunity. The Oneflare business is performing ahead of expectations and integration is underway with a program of initiatives to combine network effects and deliver cost efficiencies tracking to plan.
Airtasker shares closed yesterday at AUD 0.44 (USD 0.31), up 4.76% on the day. The company has a market cap of AUD 186.14 million (USD 129.26 million).
