Asia Pacific – Half of Australian and New Zealand workers are ready to quit jobs that are not flexible (Bloomberg)

06 May 2021

Nearly half, or 47%, of Australian and New Zealand workers are likely to resign from their current position if they aren’t provided with sufficient flexibility in a post-Covid environment, reports Bloomberg citing research from Ernst & Young Global. Given a choice between flexibility of location and hours, 52% preferred flexibility with when they work, compared with 40% who wanted it for where they work. The research also found that 55% of respondents agreed that a Covid-19 vaccination should be mandatory for all workers to return safely to work while 23% disagreed.
