Advancer Global Ltd. (43Q:SES), a Singapore-based firm, on Thursday announced that revenue in the six months ended 30 June fell 0.4% to SGD 31.4 million (USD 23.3 million).

Advancer has two core business segments: facilities management services encompassing building management and security services, and an employment services division. The company reported revenue in its employment services segment fell 6.7%. The segment includes staffing of migrant domestic workers to households and staffing of foreign workers to corporations.

Revenue edged down 0.2% in its security services segment, which provides security to commercial, industrial and residential properties. On the other hand, revenue rose 1.1% in its building maintenance services segment, the largest segment at Advancer.

Advancer noted higher costs brought on by macroeconomic issues are expected to continue putting pressure on growth this year.

Shares in Advancer closed at SGD 0.118 (USD 0.09) on 7 August, the last trade; they were 17.5% below their 52-week high, according to FT.com.
