SIA Recognizes ‘Best Staffing Firms to Work For’

Top Firms Celebrated For Highly Engaged Workers

Mountain View, California – March 18, 2020 – Winners of the 2020 Best Staffing Firms to Work For awards were announced today by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, during a special Executive Forum 2020 Best Staffing Firms to Work For/Temp For Virtual Experience broadcast with live viewership. The Best Staffing Firms to Work For 2020 awards are sponsored by Sense.

The winners comprise those companies who scored in the top quartile in each of the contest categories, and the Grand Prize Winners reflect the highest scoring organizations. Vaco took the leading spot for North American firms with over 500 employees for a second consecutive year. ALKU ranked highest for firms with 201-500 employees; Global Technical Talent led those firms with 51-200 employees; Curate Partners scored at the top for firms that have 21- 50 employees; and Syfter took first position for firms with 10-20 employees. Floyd Lee Locums was named as the Grand Prize Winner in the Best Staffing Firm to Temp For Category.

“With their strong commitment to employee engagement and building a high-performance culture, the companies on this year’s Best Staffing Firms list are setting the bar high. From newer and niche players to veteran businesses, from traditional offerings to innovation in action, from local organizations to entities with global reach, these firms are demonstrating that a highly engaged workforce is one of the few sustainable sources of competitive advantage in staffing,” said Barry Asin, SIA President. “Congratulations to the winners for this important recognition.”

Over 250 firms sought participation in the program this year, which was conducted by SIA in conjunction with Quantum Workplace, an Omaha, NE-based company. Internal employees at each firm were asked to complete an online survey that measured key engagement categories, focusing on items including teamwork, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. Some of the findings from the survey are covered in SIA’s research content, including in SIA’s interactive Internal Compensation Estimator Tool.

"We are delighted to congratulate the winners of this year’s awards. By putting their people at the core of their business, these companies are setting the standard for what a staffing firm can and should be,” said Anil Dharni, CEO and Co-Founder, Sense. “Sense was created to help ensure staffing stays focused on people by increasing engagement and communication between recruiters and talent across the lifecycle. As such, Sense is honored to highlight the companies that are trailblazers in fostering strong, cohesive, and positive workplaces."

In order to gather statistically sound results, participating companies must have reached a minimum level of participation. Companies were ranked in each size category according to their overall score. Winners were chosen based entirely on the survey results. There is no charge for participation and companies completing the survey receive a report highlighting their firm’s results.

The 2020 Best Staffing Firms To Work/Temp For website will debut later this month, and companies are featured in the March/April issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine.
