SIA Unveils Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing 2017

Mountain View, California — September 26, 2017 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has announced the Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list for 2017. In its third year, this annual list recognizes the women who stand out as leaders and influencers in the industry and the global talent marketplace. The Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list is sponsored by Bullhorn.

The list is not a ranking but a spotlight on those whose accomplishments and contributions are defining and redefining the evolution of work and related solutions against a backdrop of rapid technological advancement, shifting economies, and legislative change. The women comprising this year’s list hail from across staffing and include CEOs, technologists, crusaders, entrepreneurs and recruiters among other influencers and thought-leaders.

“From strategic visionaries, top executives and niche experts to global professionals and HR innovators, those named to this year’s list represent an impressive caliber of female leadership,” said Subadhra Sriram, Publisher & Editor, SIA. “We are extremely proud to celebrate their success stories and to raise awareness for the values and diversity so integral to our industry and essential to keeping us competitive while elevating the industry.”

"Bullhorn is incredibly proud to support SIA's annual Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list, which recognizes the women leaders in recruitment who are driving the industry forward through innovative leadership," said Art Papas, CEO of Bullhorn. "Women comprise a mere 6% of board seats at the 27 public staffing firms in the US. That statistic makes the accomplishments of these powerful leaders all the more impressive. SIA's work to shine a light on the achievement of women leaders in staffing should inspire executives across the industry to recognize the power of a diverse workforce and to work to shift the composition of their leadership teams."

The Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing website debuts the 2017 full list this week, showcasing these inspiring leaders and the impact they have on the industry. The Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing International 50 will be honored during a reception at the upcoming Executive Forum Europe in London, while profiles of the North America 50 portion are featured in the October 2017 issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine.
