Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing Lauded

SIA Announces 2016 List of Female Leaders

Mountain View, California — October 31, 2016 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has unveiled the Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list for 2016.  The list, now in its second year, recognizes influential female leaders in the industry and provides a platform to celebrate many of the talented women shaping the world of work. The Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list is sponsored by Bullhorn.

Comprised of women from all different staffing sectors, the list is not a ranking but a shout-out to those whose unique vision and contributions take the industry forward, in niche as well as global markets. The final selection is based on the influence and achievements of the women nominated.

“From innovation and performance excellence to driving profitability, the women represented this year have broken barriers for all of us,” said Subadhra Sriram, Publisher & Editor, SIA. “Although the gender gap may be narrowing, there is still a significant imbalance at the top. Shedding light on the accomplishments of women in the industry and raising awareness is pivotal for the creation of competitive and sustainable organizations that thrive in and enhance the vibrancy of our business communities.”

"We're incredibly proud to sponsor a list as meaningful to the staffing industry as the Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing," said Art Papas, founder and CEO of Bullhorn. "Given the lack of women in executive leadership positions across many industries, we're particularly proud to be sponsoring this effort to highlight the accomplishments of the staffing industry's leading female executives. It's not just that the women on SIA's list are vitally strong leaders – which they are – but it's also critical to acknowledge the reality that having a diverse executive team is proven to result in higher profitability and better employee and customer satisfaction."

The Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing website debuts the 2016 list this week, showcasing these inspiring leaders and the impact they have on the industry. Profiles of the North America 50 portion of The Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing are featured in the November/December 2016 issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine.
