CorTech acquires nine California offices, Ohio-based staffing provider

Staffing provider CorTech has acquired nine California offices from TPS. And in a separate deal, CorTech acquired an Ohio-based staffing provider operating in the industrial and administrative space.

The acquired California offices provide light industrial and administrative staffing. The acquisition expands CorTech’s California base with additional clients and internal talent.

TPS, headquartered in Santa Ana, California, will continue to operate its other offices throughout the US.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

In a separate deal, CorTech acquired Metro Staffing Service, a Westerville, Ohio-based staffing provider operating in the industrial and administrative space.

“The addition of Metro Staffing Services as a CorTech company will add key branches to our Midwest and Southeast operations,” CorTech Brands President Ben Rosencrants said.

The transaction closed Feb. 14; terms were not disclosed.

Plans call for the Metro brand to remain with CorTech planning to retain all Metro’s currently employed staff at its nine locations in Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota and North Carolina.

CorTech, based in Atlanta, ranks No. 73 on SIA’s list of largest US staffing firms and No. 33 on the list of largest industrial staffing firms in the US.
