USCIS sued for $350 million over H-1B visa fees (Forbes)

A group of technology companies sued US Citizenship and Immigration Services claiming the agency unlawfully charged tech firms $350 million in H-1B visa fees, Forbes reported. Plaintiffs in the case include the ITServe Alliance, iTech US, SmartWorks and Saxon Global. H-1B visas are used to bring in highly skilled professionals, such as technology workers, on a temporary basis.
