A federal court invalidated several US Citizenship and Immigration Services memos that had caused H-1B denial rates to skyrocket, according to a report in Forbes. The opinion in the case was released March 10 by US District Judge Rosemary Collyer. Plaintiffs in the case were seeking H-1B visas for foreign workers who have expertise in the IT industry. “Most plaintiffs are consulting firms that may place a visa holder with multiple clients over the course of a three-year visa,” according to the opinion.
