Jackson Healthcare promotes execs; MedAssets founder to rejoin board

Jackson Healthcare, one of the largest US healthcare staffing providers, promoted Robyn Smith to senior VP of human resources and Travis Dommert to senior VP of talent development.

Smith will focus on benefits, HR operations, human capital management systems, and policies and procedures. Dommert’s focus will be on talent acquisition, training and development.

Smith has been with the company for six years. Dommert previously served as president of Jackson Health IT, a Jackson Healthcare company.

Jackson Healthcare also hired Matthew Harrison as VP of human resources. He is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing human resources and administrative service functions for some of the company's operating companies. Harrison also leads delivery in the areas of HR metrics and reporting, job and compensation analysis, performance management, organizational development, change management and employee relations.

In addition to his role at Jackson Healthcare, Harrison currently serves as a clinical assistant professor of industrial/organizational psychology at The University of Georgia. Prior to joining Jackson Healthcare, he held leadership roles at Manheim, McKesson, The Weather Company and Comcast.

The company also announced John Bardis will rejoin the Atlanta-based company’s advisory board. Bardis, the founder of healthcare VMS provider MedAssets, previously served on the board from 2015 to 2017.
