Pediatric Therapy Services, a portfolio company of Shore Capital Partners, acquired AlphaVista Services, a provider of therapy staffing and outsourcing to schools. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

“AlphaVista brings international recruiting expertise and deep relationships with important school districts in the Northern California market which will facilitate strong organic growth opportunities as PTS continues to help school districts deliver important and federally mandated services to children,” PTS President Anthony Rintala said.

AlphaVista is based in Sunnyvale, Calif. It was founded in 2007 by Pradeesh Thomas, who will continue to serve as president. Therapy services provided include speech language pathology, occupational, special education, school psychology and others. Its clients include public school districts and private learning centers.

PTS was formed in May 2014 through a combination of MyTherapyCompany and Cumberland Therapy Services.
