Ride-sharing firm Uber has hired international executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles to lead the hunt for a new COO, reports Business Insider.  Uber has stated that hiring Heidrick & Struggles is the first step towards finding a COO, but that it doesn't have a final timeline for when it hopes to make a decision on the right candidate. The search comes after CEO Travis Kalanick said he needed leadership help.
