World – ManpowerGroup COO announces he will retire this month

07 August 2018

ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN) President and Chief Operating Officer Darryl Green will retire at the end of the month because of family health issues, the company announced yesterday.

Green, 58, has been with ManpowerGroup since 2007. He has served on the company’s executive leadership team for the past 11 years. Before taking on the COO role, Green was president of Asia Pacific and the Middle East and Northern Europe.

ManpowerGroup will not appoint a replacement for Green. Instead, Chairman and CEO Jonas Prising will assume the responsibilities of the role.

“Darryl is an exceptional leader in many ways,” Prising said. “He has always delivered strong business results in all the roles he has held and leaves us with a legacy of improved commercial processes, operational excellence and the focus on continuous improvement.”
