SIA’s Executive Forum Europe 2018 kicked off its second day today in London and will conclude with a keynote and a debate on the impact of automation on the staffing industry.

Keynote Speaker David Rowan, founding Editor-in-chief of WIRED UK and world-renowned expert on future trends, will lead ‘Innovate to Prosper: The Impact of Automation on the Staffing Industry,’. Using unique insights into the very latest technology developments and how smart companies are innovating, Rowan will speak about the possibilities that are now becoming realities and the impact that these would have on the world of work.

The conference concludes with the session ‘The Big Debate: Artificial Intelligence and Other Technologies will Eliminate 50% of all Recruiting Jobs by 2030’. The interactive debate will see speakers argue either for or against, whether AI and other technologies will have an impact on the Staffing market and eliminate 50% of all recruiting jobs by 2030.

More than 300 people attended the conference which began yesterday with a keynote session from SIA’s Executive Director of Global Research John Nurthen. The keynote touched on the future trends of the industry and utilized SIA’s exclusive research to predict how these trends play out over the next decade.

Day I concluded with a reception honouring members of the 2018 Staffing 100 Europe.
