Industrial recruitment firm ZebraFish Recruitment has merged with commercial agency LGT recruitment to become ZebraLight Recruitment.

According to a statement from Zebrafish, a decision was taken to merge to allow the two companies to maximise their coverage for clients and candidates in the region, becoming a much stronger agency as a result. ZebraFish previously focused on industrial recruitment in warehouses whilst LGT provided recruitment solutions to commercial clients.

“The two companies complement each other in that we can offer two different services to our clients but still maintain the same level of quality,” Matt Torgersen, Operations Director said. “The merger has allowed both companies to grow a lot quicker than they would have individually.”

ZebraLight will operate from a new office in Chester Gates business park in the Liverpool area as well as LGT’s office in Wrexham and will provide industrial and commercial recruitment solutions to companies in the North West.

“We’re pleased that the merger has been completed,” Lez Finlay, Business Development Director at ZebraLight said. “It comes at a time when we have signed exclusive deals with key clients in the region. The two companies are now able to offer a range of recruitment solutions to clients as well as a wider choice of roles for candidates.”

No further details of the merger were disclosed.
