UK – Transline loses contract with Asos (The Guardian)

04 May 2017

Employment agency Transline has lost its contract with British online fashion company Asos, reports The Guardian. The loss comes as Transline prepares for insolvency to protect its business. In March, Amazon cut ties with the employment agency. Asos’s warehouse operator XPO Logistics commented on the termination of the agreement with Transline, “Following the filing by Transline of a notice of intention to appoint an administrator, we decided in conjunction with our customer to terminate the contract with Transline and appoint PMP Recruitment.” Transline has stated that at this time it is unable to comment regarding specific agreements.

Transline faced severe criticism from MP’s over its supply of temporary workers to Sports Direct.
