UK-based executive search firm The Barton Partnership has acquired specialist strategy search firm Sailing Stones, according to Hunt Scanlon Media.

Financial details of the deal were not released.

Ben Burney, founder and managing director of Sailing Stones, will join the Barton Partnership as Chief Client Officer.

“In this new role, Ben will see that the firm continues to deliver on its purpose, serving clients effectively, across all of our offices and solutions,” The Barton Partnership stated. “As The Barton Partnership continues to expand, Ben will ensure that the delivery of our solutions and our attention to clients remains unique and personal.”

Sailing Stones, founded in 2009 and based in London, specialises in executive and manager search, for strategy and leadership roles.
