UK-based staffing and employability organisation Staffline Group announced that it completed the acquisition of Endeavour Group Limited ("Endeavour") and its subsidiary Vital Recruitment Limited.

The acquisition is expected to be earnings neutral in the current year and is being funded out of Staffline's existing resources.

Endeavour Group is based out of Peterborough. Its subsidiary Vital Recruitment is a blue-collar recruitment business in the East of England, focusing on the Food, Agriculture and Logistics sectors. Staffline stated that the acquisition will supplement the group's existing food and agriculture offerings in that area.

"We are thrilled to announce this strategic acquisition of Vital,” Chris Pullen, Chief Executive Officer of Staffline, said. “The acquisition will bring an extensive network of connections and resources in the East of England and will further strengthen our Food division and help us to increase our market share in Agriculture. With a number of large blue-chip clients, Vital will help further extend the Staffline network".

In addition, Staffline also made two smaller acquisitions during February, both having an annual turnover of less than £5 million and a profit before tax of less than £0.5 million.

Staffline acquired UK Distribution Personnel Limited which was incorporated in 2000, and is predominantly a driver recruitment agency based in the South East of England.

The group also acquired M&B Staff Services as a trade only purchase. M&B Staff Services is a temporary labour and recruitment business based in Ireland. It was founded in 1997.

No further financial details of the transactions were disclosed.
