The business and assets of Plymouth-based employment agency 1st Solutions Employment and Training Services Ltd have been acquired by Shorterm Ltd, based in Middlesex, according to Insider Media.

The sale to Shorterm, a specialist technical engineering recruiter, enabled 1st Solutions to continue with no break in trade and all employees were transferred to the purchaser.  1st Solutions employed 19 members of staff and used approximately 250 temporary workers to provide temporary and permanent personnel, including safety critical staff, general labour teams, traditional trades and machine operators. Shorterm said the acquisition will strengthen its existing network and assured all customers of full support going forward. No further details were disclosed.
