UK – RTC Group H1 revenue up 11.8%

UK-based engineering and technical recruitment firm RTC Group Plc (AIM: RTC.L), reported revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2019 of £45.9 million, an increase of 11.8% compared with last year.

RTC has three principal trading subsidiaries engaged in recruitment services: ATA, an engineering and technical recruitment consultancy, which supplies white and blue collar engineering and technical staff to a broad range of SME clients and vertical markets; Ganymede, which is focused on the supply and operation of blue-collar contingent labour into safety-critical markets; and GSS which predominantly provides managed service solutions for international clients.

Bill Douie, Chairman, commented, “Ganymede continues to perform well with enhanced volumes on its Network Rail contract and GSS has increased its presence internationally. ATA has encountered headwinds due to uncertainties over our future relationship with the European Union. However, although the fog has not lifted in the political arena and, therefore, by extension in industry and commerce, we remain confident of continuing our satisfactory performance in the second half of 2019 and as such are maintaining our progressive dividend policy.”

Within Central Services, revenue from the group’s Derby site continued to grow steadily in line with expectations.

As of last trade RTC Group traded at £49.60, down 13.74% on the day and 5.53% above its 52-week low of £47.00, set on 11 October 2018. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of £8.42 million.
