The RSA Group, a global life sciences executive search firm, announced Alex Bennett will leave his post as CEO to pursue new challenges. Executive Chairman Nick Stephens will take over the running of the business.

Stephens currently leads RSA’s board services practice. A director of the RSA Group since 1986, he joined the business full time in 1995. Stephens is also on the board of an investment company; a nonexecutive director of an IT business specialising in healthcare systems, the travel industry and cyber security; and a board member of a US and UK-based antibiotic discovery business.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to lead this group and work so closely with Executive Chairman Nick Stephens,” Bennett said. “We’ve achieved so much in a relatively short period, with 2017, my first full year as CEO, seeing profit in all three regions is testimony to the hard work of everybody across the business. It hasn’t always been easy, but building something to be proud of never is, and I’ve loved every minute of the journey.”
