Newcastle Upon Tyne-based private recruitment firm Northern Recruitment Group reported a 14% increase in turnover to £25.8 million for the full year ending December 2016.

The group also reported that operating profit was up 21% from £0.695 million to £0.845 million.

“2017 is a year of considered investment for NRG, in technology, in people and in branding as we sharpen our business offering, to expand our solutions geographically and work in embedded models with our existing and future clients” Northern Recruitment Group CEO Therese Liddle said.

Lorna Moran, Chairman also commented, “The 2016 results reflect NRG’s maturity and strength in core business across both permanent and temporary recruitment.  Our balance sheet is strong and I am excited about the investments we are making to further expand the business offering and build models for future markets”.

The group provides services in Executive Search & Selection and professional staffing for both interim and permanent appointments and RPO and delivers recruitment solutions across a breadth of industry sectors.
