UK – Nakama publishes full year preliminary results

Specialist recruitment services provider Nakama Group (NAK: AIM) reported preliminary results for the year ending 31 March 2016 with revenue decreased by 3% to £21.0 million from £21.7 million in 2015.

The group also reported net fee income improved by 8% to £5.73 million compared to £5.32 million in 2015. Net fee income percentage increased to 27.3% compared to 24.5% in 2015.

Revenue across the APAC region increased by 11% per cent to £6.92 million compared to £6.25 million in 2015. Revenue across the UK region decreased by 8% per cent to £14.1 million compared to £15.4 million in 2015.

  Nakama Group made some operational changes including the appointment of Rob Sheffield as CEO in August 2015. Angus Watson was appointed as CFO in October 2015.

The group also announced that a global internal learning and development training programme was underway with a planned run from 2015 – 2017 along with infrastructure and operational changes for website and external marketing and structural changes to the UK and Highams businesses as of January 2016. The group also opened an office in New York.
