UK – James Caan partners with US-based recruitment firm FPC Worldwide

17 May 2019

UK entrepreneur and former BBC Dragons' Den star James Caan announced a strategic alliance with US-based recruitment franchise FPC Worldwide.

Caan said the strategic alliance with FPC will help expand their footprint in the US and open new markets internationally.

FPC Worldwide was founded in 1959 and began opening franchise locations 14 years later. The company now has 60 franchise businesses throughout the US. FPC Worldwide describes itself as an entrepreneurial enterprise, giving each office the flexibility to develop individual models for success within the network structure.

Caan commented, “In my experience of working in the sector globally, there are few opportunities that offer the exclusive benefits that an FPC Franchise provides: The chance to build your own business and team from anywhere in the world with daily support and training from FPC. You get direct access to knowledge from their wider community network, as well as the professional freedom to be autonomous and achieve a true work-life balance, with the potential to generate significant income. The level of support they provide to franchisees is fantastic and I’m looking forward to introducing the FPC story to new markets.”

FPC Worldwide CEO Ron Herzog also commented, “With the alliance firmly in place, we’re excited about what the future brings for our growth. We expect to increase the number of franchise locations by 15% this year alone, with a five-year projection of doubling the size of the business.”

Caan has funded, built and sold many recruitment firms that now generate more than a billion dollars in revenue combined. He assisted the UK government in establishing Start-Up Loans that created more than 28,000 new businesses in three years, which led to him being awarded a CBE. Caan has also appeared as a main panel investor on the BBC’s popular Dragons’ Den.
