UK – Institute of Recruitment Professional Awards recognises and celebrates excellence in the industry

08 December 2016

In a ceremony hosted by Sky News presenter Dermot Murnaghan at Westminster’s Park Plaza Hotel yesterday, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s Institute of Recruitment Professional Awards celebrated the recruitment industry by recognising agencies and individuals for excellence in recruitment.

Rethink Group’s Andy Cox was the recipient of the 2016 Recruiter of the Year.

“Last nights’ winners deserve a huge amount of credit and can be held up as the leading lights within recruitment,” Kevin Green, Chief Executive of the REC, said. “We know that recruiters transform lives, and the companies and individuals showcased this year demonstrate the full value that our industry delivers every day.

“Every year the calibre of entries to the IRP Awards gets better and better. All of those shortlisted should be proud of their work,” Green said. “This helps the REC promote standards and professionalism in recruitment to employers, stakeholders and policy makers.”
