Privately owned Day Webster Healthcare Group, the staffing agency specialising in agency nursing staff, has announced the acquisition of Care Providers (AD) Ltd, a nursing agency servicing both the NHS and private hospitals.

Care Providers is accredited with both the Buying Solutions Nursing Framework and London Procurement Programme contracts which enable it to provide agency nurses to the National Health Service.

Daniel Wise, Director of Day Webster Healthcare Group, said "we are all very excited by the prospects for the next year and are prepared for the next, rapid, growth phase for the business. This is the first of several key acquisitions over the medium-term and we expect each to add value to our core offering"

Set up in late 2009, Day Webster was started by Hugh Woods Ballard and Daniel Wise.

Woods Ballard was previously Group FD at the Morgan Hunt Group, the public sector recruiter that achieved sustained and rapid growth from inception in 2001 and grew from start up to 90 million Pounds turnover over this time.

Wise started the theatre division at Health Care Locums in 2004 which became the fastest growing division within the group and ran his own healthcare recruitment business for many years.
